Also, the cushioning is basic. If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the feel of this Air Jordan Mid might surprise you. It's built more for style and heritage than all-day comfort, in my honest opinion. Comparing it directly to the AJ1 High? The "air jordan mid 1" obviously has one less lace hole, so the ankle feel is different—a bit more free. Some purists will always prefer the High, and I get that! But for casual, all-day comfort and easier on/off, I actually prefer the Mid. It's a personal thing, really. Potential con? For some, the materials can feel a bit… basic compared to premium High OG releases. If you're a leather snob, you might be disappointed. Also, if you have wider feet, the break-in might be tougher.
