Just got the Air Jordan Mid 1 in this classic "Black Toe" colorway in hand. For around $135 USD, the quality here is "really" solid. The leather feels nice, the classic silhouette is "always" a win. Straight out of the box, this Jordan Mid 1 just looks iconic. My first impression? It's a clean, versatile pickup for sure. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. After a full day in these, my verdict is positive. The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a workhorse. The materials held up, they're comfortable enough, and I got tons of compliments. They don't try to be something they're not. They're a solid, classic sneaker that just works.
