They're a cornerstone of the Jordan series for a reason. Just go in with the right expectations: legendary looks, classic (firm) feel. For that, they deliver exactly as promised. On foot, the design really pops. The contrast of the black and white panels is so clean and versatile. I've been wearing these for a few hours now, and they look great with jeans or shorts. The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits. Unboxing this "Black Toe" Mid 1 was "fun". The color-blocking is "just" iconic—red, black, white—it "pops". But, touching the materials? Yeah, it's the "typical" stiff, synthetic leather. Don't expect buttery "softness". On foot, the "fit" is "true" to size. It's a "straightforward", no-nonsense shoe from the Jordan series. If you're cool with a "break-in" period for that classic style, you'll "love" it. On feet, the look is just timeless. This particular colorway—mostly white with grey and that black Swoosh—is incredibly versatile. You can wear these with "literally" anything. Comparing it to the OG High, the main difference is obviously the collar height... and the price. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" often sits at a more accessible price, which is a huge plus for a lot of people.
