Who might want to skip it? Serious performance basketball players should look elsewhere—tech is outdated. Also, if supreme all-day comfort is your #1 priority, this isn't it. And if you're a Jordan 1 High OG purist who only wants the original silhouette, the Mid's proportions might not satisfy you. It serves a specific, style-driven purpose. On feet now. The fit is true to size for me. The padding around the ankle on the Mid is noticeable—it's comfortable and gives good support for casual wear. The footbed isn't plush by any means, but it's not uncomfortable either. It's that classic, flat feel. If you're used to modern, cushioned sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 Mid might feel a bit firm at first.
