.. the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. On feet now, and let's talk feel. The "air jordan mid 1" is a retro basketball shoe, so don't expect modern, plush cushioning. It's firm. The ankle support from the mid-top cut is noticeable and good for casual wear. The toe box has room, which I prefer. It's not a heavy shoe, but you feel its presence. If you're used to ultra-boosts or React, this will be a different, more grounded experience. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. Conversely, who should maybe avoid it? If you prioritize ultra-plush, modern cushioning above all else—this isn't it. Also, if you have flat feet or need major arch support, the firm insole might not be for you. It's a style-first, heritage-performance shoe. Just keeping it 100% real with you guys.
