The outsole grip is good for casual use. It's a great introductory shoe to the Jordan series. Probably not for someone who already owns multiple Jordan 1 Highs, unless you really dig the color. Who might it "not" be for? Hardcore OG purists who only mess with the Highs. Also, if technical, modern cushioning is your top priority, you might be disappointed. This Jordan Mid 1 is about style & heritage, "not" cutting-edge comfort. Just keeping it 100% real with you all. Comparing these to other Jordans? The Air Jordan Mid 1 sits perfectly between the High & the Low. You lose some of the High's "legendary" ankle coverage & styling options, but you gain a bit more everyday flexibility. Versus a modern Jordan like the 36? It's a completely different world — this is about heritage, not performance tech. For $135 USD, it's a style piece.
