The ~classic silhouette~ is instantly recognizable, & the leather on this colorway feels pretty decent for the $135 USD price point. Honestly, the "Mid" cut is such a versatile look—not too high, not too low. My first impression? Solid. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book. Final thoughts: The "Jordan 1 Mid" is a staple. It's not trying to be the most innovative shoe. It's providing that iconic look & feel. If you're on the fence, try a pair on. The fit & firm feel might surprise you (in a good or bad way!). My personal vote? Copped. Comparing it to other Jordans... The air jordan mid 1 sits "right" between the OG High and the Low. You lose some of the iconic High-top lockdown for basketball, but you gain easier wearability. Versus a Jordan 3 or 4? It's a totally different vibe—much more minimal and flat. It's a foundational piece in the Jordan series, for sure.
