The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits. Comparing it directly to the AJ1 High? The "air jordan mid 1" obviously has one less lace hole, so the ankle feel is different—a bit more free. Some purists will always prefer the High, and I get that! But for casual, all-day comfort and easier on/off, I actually prefer the Mid. It's a personal thing, really. So, who is this for? Honestly, it's perfect for the everyday sneakerhead who loves the Jordan 1 look but wants something a bit less constricting than a High. Great for beginners, or if you just want a reliable, stylish beater. The $135 price tag makes it a relatively accessible pick-up, too.
