The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a perfect first Jordan. It's also great for collectors who want a specific colorway without the High-top premium. If you value timeless style over cutting-edge comfort, you'll love these. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box. On foot, the design "truly" pops. The contrast between the white, black, and that vibrant red is "so" sharp. In natural light, this Air Jordan Mid 1 looks even better. It's a timeless color-blocking. The major pro? Its insane versatility. You can literally wear this with almost anything in your closet.
