If you're used to the OG High "AJ1", you'll notice the ankle height difference immediately—it's a personal preference thing. Compared to something like a Jordan 3 or 4, the "air jordan mid 1" is noticeably lighter and more low-profile. It's less about tech and more about that iconic, simple silhouette. A different vibe in the Jordan series lineup. Who might want to skip? If you're a hardcore OG silhouette collector "only" chasing Highs, this isn't it. If you need plush, modern cushioning for long walks, consider something with more tech. And if you dislike obvious creasing on the toe box, maybe look at a different material. Just my two cents! Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book.
