Air jordan mid 1 : Who might want to skip? If you're a hardcore OG silhouette collector "only" chasing Highs, this isn't it [dpv1n4b0]

If you need plush, modern cushioning for long walks, consider something with more tech. And if you dislike obvious creasing on the toe box, maybe look at a different material. Just my two cents! Potential downside? The ankle padding isn't as thick as on some Highs. If you have super sensitive ankles, that's something to note. Also, the outsole traction is good for walking, but I wouldn't recommend these for actual balling—that's not their purpose anymore. As a lifestyle shoe, the Air Jordan Mid 1 absolutely delivers on its promise. Major pros? Timeless style—you can't go wrong. The Mid is often more available & affordable than retro Highs. This specific color blocking is incredibly easy to match. Also, breaking them in is a breeze compared to some stiffer retros. It's a fantastic entry point into the Jordan world. Comparing it directly to the AJ1 High? The "air jordan mid 1" obviously has one less lace hole, so the ankle feel is different—a bit more free. Some purists will always prefer the High, and I get that! But for casual, all-day comfort and easier on/off, I actually prefer the Mid. It's a personal thing, really.
