Alright, so I just unboxed these Air Jordan Mid 1s in the "University Blue" colorway, and "wow" – the color pop is immediate. The leather feels decent for the $125 price point, and that classic Mid silhouette is just "chef's kiss". It's a straightforward, clean Jordan 1, no crazy gimmicks. If you love the AJ1 look but want something a bit more accessible — price-wise and height-wise — than the Highs, this is a solid pick. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book. On foot, the design really pops. The contrast of the black and white panels is so clean and versatile. I've been wearing these for a few hours now, and they look great with jeans or shorts. The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits.
