They don't try to be something they're not. They're a solid, classic sneaker that just works. On feet, the look is just timeless. This particular colorway—mostly white with grey and that black Swoosh—is incredibly versatile. You can wear these with "literally" anything. Comparing it to the OG High, the main difference is obviously the collar height... and the price. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" often sits at a more accessible price, which is a huge plus for a lot of people. Here's a potential con, though: purists might argue it's not the "OG" High cut. And you know what? They're right. But not everyone needs or wants that. If you're a stickler for the original 1985 specs, this isn't it. But for a stylish, wearable sneaker? It absolutely gets the job done.
