This is a staple. The color blocking is arguably one of the best ever. In-hand, the shoe feels robust. Upon wearing, the break-in is real—give it a few wears. Compared to the High version, it's essentially the same experience from the ankle down. Major pro: Timeless style that goes with literally anything. The $125 price is fair for a piece of sneaker history. Not for you if you need modern, pillowy comfort from the first step. The major "pro" for this shoe is its undeniable style and versatility. You can dress it up or down, and it works for so many fits. The build, for the price, is consistent. My pair had no glue stains or major flaws. If you want a piece of the Jordan 1 story without the High top price or feel, this "air jordan mid 1" model is a fantastic option. Putting these Air Jordan Mid 1s on feet... the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. The major "pro" here is versatility and legacy. You're wearing a piece of sneaker history (well, a version of it). The construction is generally durable for everyday use. However, the "con" for some will be the lack of premium materials or that exact OG specification. If you're a purist, you might only want the Highs.
