That Mid cut hits a sweet spot for me—it's less bulky than some modern sneakers but still has that Jordan 1 presence. The leather on this pair? It's decent! Not buttery premium, but it's durable & should crease nicely. For the price point (~$135), I'm not complaining. They look sharp on camera, y'know? Unboxing this "Black Toe" Mid 1 was "fun". The color-blocking is "just" iconic—red, black, white—it "pops". But, touching the materials? Yeah, it's the "typical" stiff, synthetic leather. Don't expect buttery "softness". On foot, the "fit" is "true" to size. It's a "straightforward", no-nonsense shoe from the Jordan series. If you're cool with a "break-in" period for that classic style, you'll "love" it. Who should "maybe" skip it? Hardcore performance basketball players — this isn't your modern tool. Also, if ultimate, cloud-like comfort is your #1 priority, look at newer models. And if you're a purist who "only" rocks Highs for that authentic look, the Mid's shorter collar might not do it for you. But for most? It's a "solid", iconic choice.
