It's a practical one. The "Panda" colorway of the Air Jordan Mid 1 is everywhere for a reason – it's simple, it's clean, it works. You're paying for the silhouette and brand heritage at $135, not groundbreaking tech. And you know what? That's totally fine for a lot of us. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book. So, who is this for? Honestly, it's perfect for the everyday sneakerhead who loves the Jordan 1 look but wants something a bit less constricting than a High. Great for beginners, or if you just want a reliable, stylish beater. The $135 price tag makes it a relatively accessible pick-up, too. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel.
