The Air Jordan Mid 1 is like the "accessible" sibling. Next to a Jordan 3 or 4 with Air units, it feels "basic" underfoot. But! Its "simplicity" is its strength. It's "lighter" than most retro models and "easier" to style. For a first Jordan? "Solid" choice. For a comfort-first sneakerhead? "Maybe" look "elsewhere". The materials – let's be critical. It's not buttery-soft leather, it's more of a grained, durable finish. For the cost, it's acceptable. You won't get the luxury feel of some High OG releases, but that's reflected in the price. This "Jordan" series offering is about the silhouette and color first. It's built to last as a casual wear shoe.
