Comparing it to other Jordans, it gives you that iconic look of the OG "Jordan 1" but often at a better price point and easier to style day-to-day. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. Looking at the details... The stitching on my pair is clean. The leather, while not buttery, has a nice grain. For a "Jordan series" staple at this price, you get what you pay for—and that's okay! The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is a no-fuss, reliable design. It won't blow your mind with tech, but it will complete fits for years. It might feel a bit narrow for wide-footers, so maybe size up half.
