The quality is consistent for what it is. Just don't expect "remastered" OG quality. You're buying a piece of sneaker history in its most wearable form. I'm keeping these in my collection. Comparing it to other Jordans... If you have a High, you don't "need" a Mid, but it's a different vibe. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is easier to put on and off, for sure. It’s less of a statement, more of an everyday shoe. I find myself grabbing these for quick errands more often than my Highs. The price difference in the "Jordan series" makes the Mid a fantastic entry point. Just know the materials might be slightly different—sometimes less leather, more synthetic. Still a great shoe for the money. On foot now, & the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. The ankle collar on the "Jordan 1 Mid" provides a good lockdown. It's a firm ride, though—don't expect modern cushioning! For casual wear & style? Perfect. For all-day comfort? Maybe look elsewhere. Potential con? The tech, or lack thereof. It's a 1985 design, so the cushioning is basic. If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the firm feel might be a shock. Also, the ankle collar on this Mid cut — while comfortable — offers less lockdown than a High for actual basketball. Know what you're buying: a lifestyle icon, "not" a performance beast.
