The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is a sneaker you can beat up a bit without feeling too guilty. If you want that Jordan look for casual use, it's a strong contender in my book. On foot, the design really pops. The contrast of the black and white panels is so clean and versatile. I've been wearing these for a few hours now, and they look great with jeans or shorts. The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits. For new sneakerheads, I often recommend starting with a Mid. It lets you experience the Jordan 1 silhouette and see if you like the fit/feel before investing in pricier Highs or collaborations. This particular colorway is a classic for a reason—it’s just easy to wear. The brand recognition is, of course, through the roof. Now, a potential "con": The toe box creases... and it creases "fast". If you're someone who hates that vintage look, be warned. Also, the traction on smooth wet surfaces can be a little sketchy. It's a lifestyle shoe now, so just manage your expectations for performance. It's all about the style with this one.
