This isn't a Boost or React sneaker. The cushioning is simple—it's more about style and support than cloud-like comfort. After breaking them in, they become very comfortable for all-day wear (walking, standing). Just don't expect a performance basketball shoe feel from the Air Jordan 1 Mid in 2024. On foot now, & the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. The ankle collar on the "Jordan 1 Mid" provides a good lockdown. It's a firm ride, though—don't expect modern cushioning! For casual wear & style? Perfect. For all-day comfort? Maybe look elsewhere. Comparing it directly to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Mid feels lighter, slightly easier to get on and off. The collar height is the main difference – it hits right at/above the ankle bone. Some prefer that; some don't. For the price difference? Sometimes it's significant, making this Air Jordan Mid 1 a smart buy. So, would I cop? Yeah, I already did. The Air Jordan Mid 1 fills a specific niche – it's that go-to, reliable sneaker. It's not trying to be the High, and that's okay. It's its own thing: a classic, affordable, and stylish piece of the Jordan legacy that's just easy to wear. Thumbs up from me.
