The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. Alright, what's up everyone? The iconic silhouette is instantly recognizable, of course. My first thought? They look great out of the box, ready to rock straight away. Comparing it to the OG Highs? The Air Jordan Mid 1 obviously has a shorter collar. It's easier to get on and off. Some purists might miss the full high-top look, but for everyday versatility? I think the Mid is a winner. The price point is also generally better, often under $130 USD.
