Great for style-focused wearers, not performance players. If you missed out on a High OG release, a Mid in a similar colorway is a fantastic consolation prize. It's a wardrobe staple. Conversely, who might want to skip? Hardcore performance basketball players—this isn't a modern performance model. Also, if you already own several OG Highs and are "only" interested in premium materials, the mids might feel like a step down. But remember, it's a different shoe with its own purpose! Don't sleep on the "Jordan 1 Mid" just because of the height. Sliding these air jordan mid 1s on... immediate comfort. The ankle collar is softer & more flexible than a High, which I actually prefer for casual wear. The padded tongue and interior feel plush. They're not ultra-light, but the weight distribution is good. For all-day wear? I think they'll be just fine, honestly. On foot, this colorway really pops! The design is so iconic. Compared to the Air Jordan 1 High, the Mid has that slightly shorter collar, which I think makes it a bit more versatile for everyday style. It's a timeless look that works with jeans or shorts. Honestly, the camera loves this shoe's clean lines.
