Pros? "Timeless" design, relatively affordable (~$120-135 USD), and "tons" of colorways to choose from. Cons? That "stiff" leather and basic insole won't win any comfort awards. "Ultimately", I'd recommend it to someone who "loves" the Jordan 1 look but wants a more "low-key", everyday option than the High. Alright, let's get these on feet. The fit is true to size for me. The mid-top collar offers a "decent" amount of ankle support - more than a low, but less than a high. It's a comfortable, classic basketball shoe feel. Not the plushest, but that's expected. For daily wear, this Air Jordan Mid 1 is a great, easy option. Putting these Air Jordan Mid 1s on feet... the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. For new sneakerheads, I often recommend starting with a Mid. It lets you experience the Jordan 1 silhouette and see if you like the fit/feel before investing in pricier Highs or collaborations.
