But go in with the right expectations: you're paying for the design heritage and versatility, not for cutting-edge comfort. For the Jordan 1 enthusiast on a budget, it's totally worth it. For real, the camera LOVES this shoe. I'm filming in some jeans, and the Air Jordan Mid 1 just pops. The black, white, and red color blocking is "timeless". Compared to the OG Highs, you're losing some ankle coverage, but you're gaining a slightly more modern, everyday-friendly profile. It's a win for casual style, hands down. Is it comfortable? It's a supportive, firm ride. Don't expect Boost or ZoomX clouds underfoot — you're getting a classic basketball shoe feel from the '80s, updated just a bit. The insole does its job. For all-day wear? Your feet might feel it. But for shorter outings, errands, style points? Absolutely fine. Know what you're buying into. Putting these Air Jordan Mid 1s on feet... the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear.
