Great for beginners, or if you just want a reliable, stylish beater. The $135 price tag makes it a relatively accessible pick-up, too. Comparing it directly to the AJ1 High? The "air jordan mid 1" obviously has one less lace hole, so the ankle feel is different—a bit more free. Some purists will always prefer the High, and I get that! But for casual, all-day comfort and easier on/off, I actually prefer the Mid. It's a personal thing, really. On feet, the look is just timeless. This particular colorway—mostly white with grey and that black Swoosh—is incredibly versatile. You can wear these with "literally" anything. Comparing it to the OG High, the main difference is obviously the collar height... and the price. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" often sits at a more accessible price, which is a huge plus for a lot of people. On foot, the design really pops. The contrast of the black and white panels is so clean and versatile. I've been wearing these for a few hours now, and they look great with jeans or shorts. The Mid cut is, in my opinion, super underrated in the whole Jordan series. It offers a perfect balance for a lot of outfits.
