It's a shoe built more for style than supreme cushioning, which is totally fine, but you should know that going in. The major "pro" here is versatility and legacy. You're wearing a piece of sneaker history (well, a version of it). The construction is generally durable for everyday use. However, the "con" for some will be the lack of premium materials or that exact OG specification. If you're a purist, you might only want the Highs. Comparing it to other Jordans... The air jordan mid 1 sits "right" between the OG High and the Low. You lose some of the iconic High-top lockdown for basketball, but you gain easier wearability. Versus a Jordan 3 or 4? It's a totally different vibe—much more minimal and flat. It's a foundational piece in the Jordan series, for sure.
