Hardcore performance basketball players—this isn't a modern hoop shoe. Also, comfort seekers beware! If you prioritize cushioning above all else, the Air Jordan Mid 1 platform might disappoint you. It's a lifestyle silhouette first. Don't buy it expecting a revolution in foot feel, because you won't get it. On foot now, & the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. The ankle collar on the "Jordan 1 Mid" provides a good lockdown. It's a firm ride, though—don't expect modern cushioning! For casual wear & style? Perfect. For all-day comfort? Maybe look elsewhere.
