The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is a no-fuss, reliable design. It won't blow your mind with tech, but it will complete fits for years. It might feel a bit narrow for wide-footers, so maybe size up half. Overall, a solid 7.5/10 for me. It does its job well, just don't expect miracles. Value verdict? At $135 USD, it's a fair ask. You're paying for the iconic design and brand heritage more than groundbreaking tech. Compared to resale prices on some High OGs, this Mid is a sensible buy. If you catch it on sale? Even better. The Air Jordan Mid 1 represents the core of the Jordan series without the hype tax, and I can always respect that. Conversely, who might want to skip? Hardcore performance basketball players—this isn't a modern performance model. Also, if you already own several OG Highs and are "only" interested in premium materials, the mids might feel like a step down. But remember, it's a different shoe with its own purpose! Don't sleep on the "Jordan 1 Mid" just because of the height.
