.. the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. What's up, everyone? Just got the Air Jordan Mid 1 in this classic "Black Toe" colorway in hand. For around $135 USD, the quality here is "really" solid. The leather feels nice, the classic silhouette is "always" a win. Straight out of the box, this Jordan Mid 1 just looks iconic. My first impression? It's a clean, versatile pickup for sure. Comparing it to other Jordans... The air jordan mid 1 sits "right" between the OG High and the Low. You lose some of the iconic High-top lockdown for basketball, but you gain easier wearability. Versus a Jordan 3 or 4? It's a totally different vibe—much more minimal and flat. It's a foundational piece in the Jordan series, for sure. Opening the box, this "Air Jordan Mid 1" ‘Dark Concord’ has a premium feel. The purple and black combo is subtle but deep. On foot, the lockdown is good, and the mid-top height offers a nice balance. Visually, it's less loud than some Retros, which I appreciate. Versus an AJ1 Low, it provides more ankle presence. The advantage is its wearability with almost any outfit. The potential drawback? It’s not a "comfort-first" model – the sole is firm. My take: For $125, it's a fantastic all-purpose sneaker for your rotation. Ideal for everyday style. Not the go-to for long walks or standing all day, in my honest opinion.
