I'd recommend it to almost anyone looking for a classic, go-to sneaker. Now, a potential "con": the comfort tech is dated. If you're coming from modern sneakers with Zoom or Boost, the firm ride of the "air jordan mid 1" will be noticeable. It breaks in, but don't expect plushness. Also, the Mid cut can feel a bit "in-between" for some—not as supportive as a High, not as minimal as a Low. Something to consider. On feet, the silhouette is just timeless. This Mid cut sits perfectly between a low and a high-top. I love how it looks with jeans or shorts. Comparing it to the OG High, you lose a bit of that classic profile, but you gain some everyday versatility — and often, a lower price point. For a daily driver in the Jordan series, this is a strong contender. For real, the camera LOVES this shoe. I'm filming in some jeans, and the Air Jordan Mid 1 just pops. The black, white, and red color blocking is "timeless". Compared to the OG Highs, you're losing some ankle coverage, but you're gaining a slightly more modern, everyday-friendly profile.
