The Air Jordan Mid 1 offers a bit more everyday flexibility. You can wear it with more pant styles without the high-top bunching up. However, the materials on this Mid version often feel a step down from most retro High releases. It’s a trade-off for the lower price point, which is around $125 USD. Potential downside? The ankle padding isn't as thick as on some Highs. If you have super sensitive ankles, that's something to note. Also, the outsole traction is good for walking, but I wouldn't recommend these for actual balling—that's not their purpose anymore. As a lifestyle shoe, the Air Jordan Mid 1 absolutely delivers on its promise. Who are these for? Someone wanting that iconic Jordan 1 look without the High price tag. They're perfect for casual wear, not serious ball. If you're new to sneakers, the Air Jordan Mid 1 is a fantastic first Jordan to add to your rotation. It's a staple.
