I own Highs, but I find myself reaching for Mids more often for errands. The clear advantage is the classic look and easy wear. The downside? The materials can sometimes feel a grade below the Highs. Priced at $125, it's a fair deal. It's perfect for a casual wardrobe staple. If you're all about premium materials, maybe save for a High OG release. Looking at the details... The stitching on my pair is clean. The leather, while not buttery, has a nice grain. For a "Jordan series" staple at this price, you get what you pay for—and that's okay! The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is a no-fuss, reliable design. It won't blow your mind with tech, but it will complete fits for years. It might feel a bit narrow for wide-footers, so maybe size up half. Overall, a solid 7.5/10 for me. It does its job well, just don't expect miracles. Putting these Air Jordan Mid 1s on feet... the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. Sliding these Air Jordan Mid 1s on... the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. Immediate thoughts? The ankle collar provides nice support — more than a Low, less than a High. The cushioning is... well, it's an '85-inspired shoe, so don't expect Boost-level softness. It's firm but comfortable for all-day wear. The "overall" feel is classic, stable, & just "simple".
