You're buying the iconic design, the history, & a super versatile shoe. It's not the most exciting release ever, but it's a "workhorse" in any collection. I'd recommend it to almost anyone looking for a classic, go-to sneaker. The major "pro" here? Versatility. This "Jordan Mid" goes with literally everything—jeans, joggers, shorts. It's a wardrobe staple. The design is timeless, and you can grab so many different color stories. For the price, you're getting a piece of sneaker history you can actually wear hard without too much worry. Who should "maybe" skip it? Hardcore performance basketball players — this isn't your modern tool. Also, if ultimate, cloud-like comfort is your #1 priority, look at newer models. And if you're a purist who "only" rocks Highs for that authentic look, the Mid's shorter collar might not do it for you. But for most? It's a "solid", iconic choice. So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box.
