.. the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. Sliding these Air Jordan Mid 1s on... the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. Immediate thoughts? The ankle collar provides nice support — more than a Low, less than a High. The cushioning is... well, it's an '85-inspired shoe, so don't expect Boost-level softness. It's firm but comfortable for all-day wear. The "overall" feel is classic, stable, & just "simple". Who should "avoid" these? If supreme all-day comfort is your #1 priority, look at modern performance models or lifestyle runners. Also, if you're a purest for the OG High-top silhouette, the Mid's shorter collar might bug you. But if you appreciate the design language of the Jordan 1 and want a practical version? The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a fantastic option. After wearing these for a day, my final take? They get the job done. The comfort is fine for walking around, the style is a 10/10, and they turn heads just like the Highs do. Is it the most exciting sneaker? Maybe not. But is it a dependable, classic piece you'll wear all the time? Absolutely. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is a workhorse in my collection.
