It's more accessible price-wise (~$135) than many High OG releases. You lose a bit of that iconic high-top collar, but you gain a slightly more modern, wearable profile. It's a fantastic gateway into the Jordan 1 family, for real. Who might it "not" be for? Hardcore OG purists who only mess with the Highs. Also, if technical, modern cushioning is your top priority, you might be disappointed. This Jordan Mid 1 is about style & heritage, "not" cutting-edge comfort. Just keeping it 100% real with you all. On feet, the look is undeniable. That Mid cut hits a sweet spot for me—it's less bulky than some modern sneakers but still has that Jordan 1 presence. The leather on this pair? It's decent! Not buttery premium, but it's durable & should crease nicely. For the price point (~$135), I'm not complaining. They look sharp on camera, y'know? Now, the not-so-great part. If you need plush cushioning for all-day wear or balling, look elsewhere. This is a retro basketball shoe in design only. Also, that stiff leather can crease in a pretty noticeable way. It's part of the charm for some, but if you like your sneakers pristine, this might bug you.
