It's a "trade-off": you get that legendary look for a "reasonable" $135, but you sacrifice "plush" feel. Perfect for "light" wear, not for all-day "standing". Who are these for? Honestly, perfect for someone entering the sneaker game or wanting a reliable, iconic sneaker. The Mid 1 is less hype than some Retros, easier to get, and often under $150. If you need a shoe that goes with everything and has that Jordan heritage? This is it. It's a no-brainer first Jordan for many. Who should maybe skip it? Serious ballers looking for modern performance tech – look at newer models. Also, if you have very wide feet, the fit can be snug. And if you "only" want the highest OG form, you'll likely stick to the Highs. But for most? This Mid is a great choice. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book.
