.. it's fine. "Seriously", just "fine". The "lack" of modern cushioning is "apparent". However, the "support" and "lockdown" are good once broken in. It's a "trade-off": you get that legendary look for a "reasonable" $135, but you sacrifice "plush" feel. Perfect for "light" wear, not for all-day "standing". So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box. So, who is this shoe for? I'd say it's perfect for someone who loves the Jordan 1 look but wants a more casual, accessible option. It's great for everyday wear, and you won't be terrified of creasing them like some super-limited pairs. It's a fantastic entry point into the Jordan series. Potential con? The tech, or lack thereof. It's a 1985 design, so the cushioning is basic. If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the firm feel might be a shock. Also, the ankle collar on this Mid cut — while comfortable — offers less lockdown than a High for actual basketball. Know what you're buying: a lifestyle icon, "not" a performance beast.
