The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. It's a shoe built more for style than supreme cushioning, which is totally fine, but you should know that going in. How does it look in real life? Honestly, this colorway pops. The red hits against the white and black are timeless. Wearing these, you get that classic basketball sneaker vibe instantly. Comparing it to other Jordans? It’s more versatile for everyday than a bulky Jordan 4, and more affordable than most High OGs. The Air Jordan Mid 1 really holds its own in any casual rotation.
