The ankle collar is softer & more flexible than a High, which I actually prefer for casual wear. The padded tongue and interior feel plush. They're not ultra-light, but the weight distribution is good. For all-day wear? I think they'll be just fine, honestly. Comfort check: After a full day in the Air Jordan Mid 1, my "verdict" is... it's fine. "Seriously", just "fine". The "lack" of modern cushioning is "apparent". However, the "support" and "lockdown" are good once broken in. It's a "trade-off": you get that legendary look for a "reasonable" $135, but you sacrifice "plush" feel. Perfect for "light" wear, not for all-day "standing". Unboxing this "Black Toe" Mid 1 was "fun". The color-blocking is "just" iconic—red, black, white—it "pops". But, touching the materials? Yeah, it's the "typical" stiff, synthetic leather. Don't expect buttery "softness". On foot, the "fit" is "true" to size. It's a "straightforward", no-nonsense shoe from the Jordan series. If you're cool with a "break-in" period for that classic style, you'll "love" it.
