.. If you have a High, you don't "need" a Mid, but it's a different vibe. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is easier to put on and off, for sure. It’s less of a statement, more of an everyday shoe. I find myself grabbing these for quick errands more often than my Highs. The price difference in the "Jordan series" makes the Mid a fantastic entry point. Just know the materials might be slightly different—sometimes less leather, more synthetic. Still a great shoe for the money. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. Final verdict? For the price, I think the Air Jordan Mid 1 is a great pick-up. You get iconic style, decent comfort for walking, and a ton of versatility. It won't blow your mind with tech, but it "will" complete a lot of fits. I'd recommend it, especially in a clean color-blocking like this. Who should skip it? If you're all about the "highest" quality materials or need that plush, modern cushioning… look elsewhere. Also, hardcore purists who only mess with the OG High-top silhouette might not vibe with the Mid's shorter cut. It's a different beast within the Jordan series.
