The color-blocking is "just" iconic—red, black, white—it "pops". But, touching the materials? Yeah, it's the "typical" stiff, synthetic leather. Don't expect buttery "softness". On foot, the "fit" is "true" to size. It's a "straightforward", no-nonsense shoe from the Jordan series. If you're cool with a "break-in" period for that classic style, you'll "love" it. After a full day in these, my verdict is positive. The Air Jordan Mid 1 is a workhorse. The materials held up, they're comfortable enough, and I got tons of compliments. They don't try to be something they're not. They're a solid, classic sneaker that just works. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily.
