Overall, a solid 7.5/10 for me. It does its job well, just don't expect miracles. Comparing it to other Jordans? The Air Jordan Mid 1 sits, well, in the middle. It's more accessible price-wise (~$135) than many High OG releases. You lose a bit of that iconic high-top collar, but you gain a slightly more modern, wearable profile. It's a fantastic gateway into the Jordan 1 family, for real. Now, the not-so-great part. The break-in period can be "real"—the heel and pinky toe area might rub for the first few wears. Also, that classic Jordan 1 outsole traction? It can get "slippery" on wet surfaces, so maybe not your go-to rain shoe. Just keeping it 100% with you guys. The materials – let's be critical. It's not buttery-soft leather, it's more of a grained, durable finish. For the cost, it's acceptable. You won't get the luxury feel of some High OG releases, but that's reflected in the price. This "Jordan" series offering is about the silhouette and color first. It's built to last as a casual wear shoe.
