Also, if you already own several OG Highs and are "only" interested in premium materials, the mids might feel like a step down. But remember, it's a different shoe with its own purpose! Don't sleep on the "Jordan 1 Mid" just because of the height. Who's this for? Honestly, perfect for someone who loves the Jordan 1 look but wants a more casual, everyday sneaker. Great for style-focused wearers, not performance players. If you missed out on a High OG release, a Mid in a similar colorway is a fantastic consolation prize. It's a wardrobe staple. Sliding these Air Jordan Mid 1s on... the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. Immediate thoughts? The ankle collar provides nice support — more than a Low, less than a High. The cushioning is... well, it's an '85-inspired shoe, so don't expect Boost-level softness. It's firm but comfortable for all-day wear. The "overall" feel is classic, stable, & just "simple".
