.. the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. Immediate thoughts? The ankle collar provides nice support — more than a Low, less than a High. The cushioning is... well, it's an '85-inspired shoe, so don't expect Boost-level softness. It's firm but comfortable for all-day wear. The "overall" feel is classic, stable, & just "simple". Wearing these around, I appreciate the "Mid" cut more and more. It offers that classic "Jordan 1" profile but is easier to get on and off than the Highs. There's a certain nostalgia factor with the "Air Jordan Mid 1" that modern retros sometimes lack. It feels authentic, like a direct link to the court styles of the past. Who is this shoe for? Honestly, it's for the person who wants that iconic Jordan 1 look without the premium High-top price or hassle. It's a perfect entry point into the Jordan series. Great for casual wear, collectors on a budget, or just adding a versatile staple to your rotation. Solid choice. Conversely, who might want to skip? Hardcore performance basketball players—this isn't a modern performance model. Also, if you already own several OG Highs and are "only" interested in premium materials, the mids might feel like a step down. But remember, it's a different shoe with its own purpose! Don't sleep on the "Jordan 1 Mid" just because of the height.
