It's for people who value look over supreme comfort. Who is it NOT for? Folks needing all-day support, people with very wide feet, or anyone seeking modern, bouncy cushioning. For me? It's a forever classic, but know what you're buying into. Who should "avoid" it? Serious ballers needing court performance - look at newer models. Also, if all-day comfort is your #1 priority? Maybe try a Jordan 13 or something with more cushion. And if you dislike breaking shoes in? This classic build requires some patience. It's not a "slip-on-and-forget" kind of shoe. Final verdict? For me, the "Air Jordan Retro 1" is still a "strong" recommend. It's a pillar of sneaker culture. You're buying the "look", the history, the versatility. Just go in with the right expectations on comfort. Try them on if you can! If you find a colorway you love, it's a worthy addition. It's not perfect for every situation, but for style points? It's "almost" always a yes. What do you guys think? Wearing these around today, the design really pops. The 'University Blue' panels against the white and black just work. It's a "Jordan 1", so it goes with practically everything—jeans, shorts, you name it. The leather creases, that's just part of the deal with this model. But it adds character. Visually, it's still a 10/10 for me, a true staple in the "Jordan series".
