The fit is true to size for me, giving a snug, secure wrap around the midfoot. Compared to a modern Jordan like the 36? The Retro 1's feel firmer - it's a court feel, not a cloud. But honestly, for casual wear? It's totally fine. You buy these for the look, not for zoom air.
