The ankle collar provides that signature support the Jordan 3 is known for. They're not the lightest sneaker, but you feel stable. The cushioning from the visible Air unit in the heel? It's comfortable right out of the box for casual wear, no real break-in needed. Comparing it to other Retros... the Jordan 3 sits in a sweet spot. It's more comfortable than a stiff Jordan 1 or 2, but it doesn't have the streamlined profile of a Jordan 4 or 5. It's its own thing. For me, the AJ3 offers a great balance of comfort, heritage, and visual interest within the Jordan series lineup.
