You're paying for the heritage, the timeless design, and that in-hand quality. It's not the most tech-forward shoe in my collection, but it's one I'll always keep and wear. Solid cop. Comparing it to, say, a Jordan 1? Completely different vibe. The Jordan 3 is way more comfortable right out of the box. The toe box has more room. Compared to other 3s, this 'Reimagined' version has that aged midsole, which gives it a cool, vintage look immediately. Comparing these Air Jordan Retro 3s to, say, a Retro 1? Big difference in comfort. The 3s have that visible Air unit in the heel – you actually feel it. The silhouette is bulkier than a 1, but in a good, protective way. For all-day wear, I'd pick the 3s over many earlier Jordan models, hands down. On feet, the design "really" pops. The 'White Cement' colorway is just timeless. That elephant print and the Jumpman on the tongue look sharp in person and on camera. This Air Jordan Retro 3 is a true head-turner. It works with so many fits. The visual appeal is a major win for this release.
