Wearing them, the arch support is quite pronounced (which I like), and the heel cushioning is adequate for walking. Compared to a Jordan 5, I find the 4's fit to be roomier in the toe. It's a fun, retro vibe. Great for adding a pop of color to your wardrobe. Not so great if you prefer understated kicks. A solid pickup around the $200 mark for fans of loud retros. Now, the "not-so-great" parts. Ventilation? Those little mesh windows? Mostly for show — your feet will get warm. Also, the midsole paint on some older pairs is notorious for chipping (a.k.a. "creasing"). And at around $200+ USD, you're not getting cutting-edge tech. You're buying into a legend, not performance innovation. That's a dealbreaker for some. On feet, they look even better. The shape is just "right" on this retro. I'm wearing the 'Military Blue' pair ($210 USD), and the contrast pops perfectly. That mesh netting and the cement-like grey accents... it's a timeless look. On camera, the details really stand out. This is a shoe that looks good in-hand and on-foot, no doubt. Who's this for? Sneakerheads wanting a classic. People who value iconic style over max cushioning. It's perfect for collectors of the Jordan series. Who should skip it? If you need ultra-plush, modern comfort tech – look elsewhere. If you have very wide feet, definitely try before you buy this particular retro.
